St Michael’s Cricket Club
St Michael’s Cricket Club, based at Kingholm Park, Dumfries in South West Scotland was established in its current form in 1952. As a registered charity, our current constitution states:
“St Michael’s Cricket Club aims to promote cricket as a mass participation sport and make it fun, safe and accessible for all those who wish to play cricket regardless of age, sex, or playing ability.”
St Michael’s First XI currently play in the Eden Valley (Eden Valley Cricket League) Second Division. While our Sunday XI play in Division 2 of the Sunday League. We also have a T20 side playing in the Dumfries Midweek League.

During the season senior practices are on Tuesdays and Fridays at 6.00 pm at Kingholm Park. All new players are welcome and can compete for the chance to play 80 over Saturday cricket for our main League teams or in the less demanding 72 over Sunday fixtures.
We believe strongly in the importance of promoting youth cricket and offer every opportunity for young players to progress to higher levels.
Currently St Michael’s Cricket Club subscriptions for adult players are set at £80 a year (concessions available for students, juniors, unemployed and non-playing members). For full details see our subscription page.
Since 2011 the club has made a series of concerted efforts to improve the facilities at the Kingholm Park ground.
